"Antique" Siamese Cat Lamp. Aquired in the early 80's, however, I am not sure how old it is. It is very fragile and beginning to develop small cracks throughout. I can't make out the engraved stamp in back.

I have this same lamp. It came out in the 1950's. I got mine from my grandmother. Back when television was first invented, it wasn't very bright, and it hurt the eyes to watch it for very long, so they created these tv lamps to help! I saw on somewhere for $385.00, but I've seen it on ebay for anywhere from $25.00 - $50.00
I LOVE mine and wouldn't dream of selling it. I hope my daughter keeps it and passes it on.

I have one, my Mother-in-law gave it to me. I don't now anything about it. Mine has the blue/green eyes. 1 eye is missing on the smaller cat.
