Your stein is not signed, that marking indicates a metric measurement of how much beer it will hold, in this case "0.5 L" which is half a litre. The marking on the bottom is that of the Gerz company, one they used in many varaitions since about 1893, this one postdates 1900 and could date a lot later. They produced steins like this in huge numbers, so they often sell for less than $75.00, the company is still in operation.
