antique 3 mirror dresser

By ivankatonka, 28 March, 2016
Description

This is a dresser with 3 seperate mirrors. All three come off. There are no markings or labels anywhere on the piece. It sits on small caster wheels. Dovetail joints. I do not know anything about where it came from or anything else about it. If you could please even just let me know when it dates back to and a little bit about the piece, I'd be forever grateful. Thank you.

Re: antique 3 mirror dresser

Based on the images this piece is most likely English and dates from the turn of the 19th Century. It's loosely based on the At Nouveau style which peaked in popularity about 1900. We'd retail one in comparable shape for about $450.00.

Re: antique 3 mirror dresser

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I've been trying to find another one with mirrors like this, and I can't. Have you ever seen one with mirrors like this?

Re: antique 3 mirror dresser

Yes I have, but generally over time the mirrors tend to get separated from the dressers either because of damage or attempts to modernize them.
