Roll tops like this tend to date from the turn of the 19th Century into the 1920's when they began to go out of fashion. Values for them as antiques peaked in the 1990's and have declined since then. Roll tops were reproduced during the 1980's to early 90's, which depressed prices for them. We retail them now for about $800.00.
