Re: Oil painting. W Clark

I recently bought a painting with the same signature.  We purchased it in Richmond, VA.  I have been searching for information on the artist as well.

Let me know if you find anything and I will do the same.

Lol I have an exact copy of that painting. But I think mine might be a forgery. Were you able to find anything out about it?

Re: Oil painting. W Clark

Paintings really require a physical examination by a specialist appraiser and are not good candidates for any sort of appraisal via images. I would suggest contacting a local auctioneer for a referral to one.

Good advice.  However, I was just looking for information on the artist.  Please look at the entire thread.
