E B & Co Bottle

By Re-Loved Vintage, 16 July, 2013
Description

I have a bottle marked E B & Co Ld number 4854. It has embossed on the sides what appear to be maybe dandelion leaves, arched to make a space for a lable. There is another lable area above that. The bottle appears to have been dyed a purple colour at some point and has drip marks on the neck, I do not know if this has been added later. The seem up the side of the bottle does not extend over the top and this is a tooled cork top not screw top. There are also 2 fern leaves embossed on the rear of the bottle at the bottom. The bottle stands at 31 mms, the diameter of the bottom is 20 mms, the base of the neck 12 mms.

Re: E B & Co Bottle

looks like a lr rose co bottle. the coated bottles like  this are usually reproductions and not worth that much. if the bottle is aqua under the died color then it might be older and more valuable . tou can generally look down the inside of the bottle and see where paint has chipped away and see the regular colkor of the bottle . take picture of bottom of the bottle also for better age dating of it
