Antique wooden chair not sure what wood it is although it is very red like sapele. Bought at auction in england many years ago so likely to be english or french?
It dates from the first quarter of the 20th Century, probably maple construction. Chairs like this were factory made mass production items that look older than they actually are. No big value these days, the demand for chairs like this last peaked in the late 1980's to early 90's. Many go at auction for under $75.00.
