Description

Vintage Bump & Go 1965 Bandai, No.960 Volkswagen Sedan in Original Box - Battery operated  1965 "Bump and Go" Action Vintage Volkswagen Sedan by Bandai, complete in its original box. Features an accurate rendition of the mid-60's Volkswagen 2-door sedan. All embossed tin litho; metallic cobalt blue exterior with (embossed) red and white striped interior. Transparent engine cover is clear plastic. Like the actual car, it's fully loaded and has its original front and rear celluloid windshield, and its original torso driver too! The tires, including the Bump And Go mechanism, are solid black rubber. "Play" type features includes its original "telescoping" antenna which also serves a brake, a red lighted engine with rotating fan belt, plus random battery operated "Bump And Go" movement. It's intact with all original parts. The box, while aged, is printed with a black and white illustration of the car on the cover. Schematic instructions are shown on the front, rear, and side aprons. A beautiful toy and a beautiful collector's item!
