I think it is glass ,it has a greenish hue , and I inherited this vase from my grandmother. It has no maker markings on it that I can find. I know nothing about it and would love to know were to start. Thanks
It’s glass…..The style of your lovely vase called jack in the pulpit!!. The edge is called ruffle the green glass could be opaline….and the way it is hand tooled could be described as textured. Many were made in Murano but equally some in Bohemia or UK most likely early 20th century….the greenish hue could be due to the inclusion of uranium in the glass. If you have a uv torch and take it in a dark room it will show very bright green if it has uranium. This is very sought after by collectors. Sometimes called Vaseline glass….
