I did find a Bassett "Versailles" French Provincial style buffet that was sold at auction in 2021 for $546. It didn't have its original finish. It was painted and artificiality distressed which is the current style these days:
This dresser is in the French provincial style which has been in and out of fashion since its original Inception in the mid 1700s, about every 30 years or so, the current trend is to paint it over its original finish. "In the rough" values for them is modest, generally under $100.00 at Charity/ Goodwill type stores.
