We have this chest that we dont really know much about it was made in Hong Kong. it is an art carved kiln dried chest. anything you could tell me about this wouldd be great and the value of it as well thanks Gary
These are the oriental equivelent of cedar chests made by Lane, instead of cedar they use camphor wood, which resists insects, rot and mold. Most of these are 20th century pieces, brought back by troops stationed in south east asia since WW2. At auction they sell for about $250.00
