Based on the images and the tag this set dates no earlier than the 1960's,  but both pieces based on 18th Century French Furniture. Deutsch Bros made custom furniture, much of it for the upper end od f the middle class market right through the 1960's. Furniture in this style is not currently in vogue, comparable sofa's often sell at auction for less than $300.00 if in very good condition, the chairs at $150.00 a piece.
