Description
I have an antique table with 3 leaves. The base table measures 24" X 40", expanding to 97" X 40". You will see in the photos that there are numbers on the underside of the table. I am trying to get a value on this table, as it was left to me as part of an estate. I need to sell it, and have no idea of its worth.
Re: Antique Cherry table, by Brandt Furniture
It's a nice table, but it is not an antique. It's based on American Federal furniture made cica 1780-1820, but dates from the second quarter of the 20th century. Brandt started in 1901 in the Hagerstown, Maryland area. The company went out of business in 1985, but a few years ago, a couple of former employees bought the company and restarted production. At auction a comparable table sells for about $400.00.
