Description

Not sure if the wood is oak or mahogany. I believe it is mahogany. 

The winged griffons are 17 inches tall. 

Bowed front center draws. The orignal skeleton key is with it. The draws are doved  tail and bottoms are slated. ( several pieces joined )

mirror is orignal. With sideboard with mirror is 56.5 tall.  39.5 buffet height   19 deep. Top of sideboard is curved.  The doors apoear to have 4 carvings in rack.    Thank you all in advance.

Antique QS Oak Sideboard/Buffet Bev. Mirror & Griffins/ empire revival /////art and crafts mirror griffins

I underlined both styles that were made. What I find interesting is how poorly made and carved the griffins are, Not the way Empire Revival makers would do, Have you ever hear the term Bench Made?.. I will keep looking for you, hope someone will give you the right answer, I would also love to know more....Thanks, good luck
