Description

I bought this a few weeks ago at my "honey hole" spot for $30. After examining and researching the dovetails, the lock, the screws and nails they are all pointing to an 18th century piece. I think it's made from pine and made in Virginia or Pennsylvania. Hoping people with more expertise will give info on where it was made, and possible value. Also I'm thinking on finding some salvaged pine that matches up well and to make a new bottom skirt and or feet/legs for the piece. Or would it be better to just leave it as it is for better resale value?
