The handle is approx. 4 inches long and has a decrative carving on the butt. The blade is a very narrow -Kopis- style, and is approx. 11 inches long. The sheath is completely wooden, with what appears to be hand carvings of a bird, flowers, and other decrative carvings. I would like to know where it is from and how old it is. Ive seen similar pieces from West Africa, but I am unsure if this is from the area.
Thank you
