Description
This lovely "Bonheur du jour" ladies desk, made especially popular in the United States between 1870-1890, has been well loved and taken care of. It was refinished about 15 years ago to repair one of the legs, and add a leather blotter on the desktop, which lifts for spacious writing supplies storage. It also has an upper glass door display cabinet (original glass). It is very detailed, and beautifully crafted! The dimensions are approximately 52-inches tall, 23-1/2 inches deep, 28-3/4-inches wide.
