I bought this set from an antique dealer in Oregon about 6 years ago. It hasn't been out of the box since. I dont know anything about it other than it says made in japan and has a raised star on the bottom of it. I did just notice that the handle on the sugar bowl looks like it has been broken and glued. There is also a small chip in the teapot spout. One of the cups has a blemish on the inside but it is part of the glazing. If anyone can tell me anything about the history, worth of this item it would be much appreciated. Thank you
