Description

Stunning art-deco cedar chest, with sun burst inlay. Has "Pegged Corners patent applied for" on inner lid edge.

The brilliant design and sturdy workmanship will make a beautiful addition to any home.
The outside is simply radiant. Has a "waterfall style" lid design. 
 
1907-1956 (years of Caswell Runyan Co Inc operation) however it is most likely from the early to mid 1930's.
Approx: 44" long, 18" wide, and 21" high.
Missing the key. Has the original paper informational tag.
 
Update:
I have located the person whom applied for the patent through the US Patent office, her name was Shirley E Coy.  The patent was applied for on July 29, 1935 and received the patent on April 6, 1937.
