I know nothing about this piece because I picked it up on the side of the road in my neighborhood. Apparently someone died and the house was cleaned out. Everything was put out for the trash.
It is extremely sturdy and structurally sound. It has some kind of finish under the hideous paint job. I put alcohol on a q-tip and rubbed it in an inconspicuous spot and whatever it is under the paint dissolved away. I also see straight saw marks as opposed to circular saw marks. It is extremely heavy and it has all the handles. They failed the magnet test so maybe they are coated. Also some of these pictures will turn the right way if you click on them.
