That label looks older than 1980’s. I’m not an expert but so far what I’ve seen online I’d guess it’s from the 20’s or 30’s. Will come back if I have more info. Also might be tiger oak. I have no idea what the value of yours is but this one on eBay is quite similar to the style of yours https://www.ebay.com/itm/282968117441#viTabs_0
Another similar one https://www.ebay.com/itm/123815310083
This one is a bit different but gives you an idea of what something similar sold for https://www.ebay.com/itm/143977505340?hash=item2185ba623c%3Ag%3Ag8gAAOS…
Re: Tigerwood Dresser and Mirror
It's made of quarter sawn oak and oak. It's in the Empire Revival style, which was popular from the turn of the 19th Century through to the early 1920's. Sadly the demand and values for pieces like this have declined enormously since their peak in the late 1980's when oak furniture like this very popular. The company that made it began production in 1893 and was still operating through the 1920's. At auction these days comparable pieces now sell for under $150.00.
