Description
This dressing has been in my family for a few generations. My mom was a collector of antiques before she passed away and passed away and she valued this particular very highly. It is in fair condition it would need a little bit of restoration to be sold retail but it is in not bad condition by any means.. I do not know much about the item I don't know what year it's from all I know is that it is solid wood.
Re: Antique Dry Sink
It's a early Victorian Dry Sink, most like this tend to date before 1860. Many remained in use right into the 20th Century in more rural areas where homes had limited plumbing. Values for these and demand peaked in the late 1980's, they have been in decline since then. Those that need a little work or restoration tend to go at auction for under $250.00 currently.
