Description

The card advertises the House of Gubelin - Switzerland's Finest Jeweler. It says it was founded in 1854, the jeweler was in its 100th anniversary centenary year. Six watches are depicted across the bottom of the card, and it says they are "Exclusive Agents for the famous PATEK PHILIPPE and AUDEMARS PIGUET WATCHES." Attached to the card is a one-centime (?) coin: "This bright Swiss coin with bring you Luck! Keep it as a small souvenir of your visit to Switzerland." On the reverse of the card is an illustrated table of Swiss coins and bills, and their rough equivalents in US money.

This was found in a box with some of my fathers photos that I received after his passing. He was in the military and loved taking pictures of anything and everything. He received this Advertisement when he was overseas and visiting town.
