Antique German Beer Stein

Description The lid is pewter with porcelain inlay. The scene in the porceline is that of a woman. On the underside of the lid there is engraving, the inscription reads: "Hefse H. Engel" and below that "Weihenstephan.Juli.1872". The underside of the lid is also stamped D Beill. The thumb lift is a depiction of what looks like a bearded man or gnome.
