late 1920 early 1930 Lane cedar chest

By willthisgo2, 27 October, 2010
Description

Item is in good condition except for some minor scratches and a watermark on lid.  Inside is in excellent condition.  I would like to know if someone could tell the the approx value of this item and/or the approx year made.

I am not sure what the numbers on the bottom mean.

Re: late 1920 early 1930 Lane cedar chest

There are tons and tons of Lane Cedar Chests already appraised on Instappraisal.  Your best bet would be to use the search area at the top of any page and type in "Lane Cedar Chest" and chances are you'll see plenty of information about history, value, etc.  Good luck

Re: late 1920 early 1930 Lane cedar chest

The serial number on the bottom  of a Lane cedar chest indicates its age. Read it backwards and that is the date it was built/made. For example, serial # 241121 was made 12-11-42  ( 1942.)
