Description
what is this worth today? a 1918 Mauser T-Gewehr 13mm anti tank rifle. The first anti-tank rifle ever made and is fully functional with 2 live rounds and 1 display dud. Complete with Bi-Pod. I've seen a few in museums and never seen one for sale. I know that around 18000 were made for WW1 and all Europeen ones were decommissioned and rendered non firering. This one is fully functional and packs a serious wallop! any idea on the value would be appreciated.

wow, if you have actually fired this im envious. These usually go at auction for 4,000-5,000 american dollars. They are really rare to find. I have only seen 5 of these at auction in the past 8 years. A gun collector would sell his soul for this gun to add to his collection. I would take it to a museum or private collector, if you wish to sell this piece.

Thanks, yes i did fire off a shot!!!! my shoulder still hurts. Back in WW1 they used to have a 2 man team carry these around and were only to use it 5 shots each, after which, they had dislocated shoulders, bleeding noses etc... Since I'm a gun nut, and have fired Barret, McMillan 50's i decided to try. You have to keep in mind that there is no recoil pad, no muzzle brake....no shock absorbing system whatsoever...so as I said, what a wallop!!!
