18th century table likely from New England. Chippendale with canon pedestal, legs dovetailed into pedestal from the bottom.
Original finish and has not been refinished. Top may have been cleaned hundreds of times and appears somewhat lighter in finish than base. Wedge that hold top to pedestal is original. Some wear on one claw foot on toe. Table is sturdy and quite useful as well as a scarce collectable table.
Wood in mahogny. Top is a plain disc with no embellishments, made of two boards.
