This barrel was in my grandfather's barn and was used to put molasses on the hay for the cow. It has a wooden plug on the top and there also seems to be a plug in the side of it. I'm guessing it holds around 50 gallons.
I have a George Zee & CO. hand carved coffee table from 1957. I even have the original receipt. It was bought on October 6th, 1957 for $50.00. The serial # from the receipt is k222. The metal plate on the bottom of the table has # NO 56-35679. This piece is in very good condition and I would be willing to sell for the right price.
The table was hand carved by George Zee in 1956. His autograph is even on the warranty sheet that came with the table. The table has a small drawer in the front and has a fitted plate of glass on top.
