I donot know much about this item other than what I learned by researching them on the internet. I found out they are Bishop Crucifix scissors. Any other information as to the history or value would be greatly appreciated.
I acquired these from a local thrift shop today. It's a set of four teacups, a little over 3 inches in height and 4 1/2 inches in diameter with gold leaf accents. At the bottom is a crown, surrounded by "SALISBURY BONE CHINA" and below that, it says "MADE IN ENGLAND". I see the number "1788" on the bottom of each one.
Any further information on this would be greatly appreciated! I've looked in google, ebay and etsy and have not found any matches.
have done alittle rasearch on this painting, the signature seems to be correct and not one ofthe students at vanguard studio the painting is 3'x 5' oil on canvas with a thin aluminum frame of four racing horses at the race track, is no reference on the back of it regarding a studio its in very good shape besides needing a cleaning .have not been able to find any copies or prints of this same painting,
This is a very large painting which looks like a face. It has a Big mouth and has a Cuban flag painted on one of the arms. I can't really make out the signature. It looks like the first name is Salvador. The only word written in the painting is Balsalvia. I really don't know anything about this painting. I would like to know who painted it and how much it's worth.
