This book appears to have a leather cover embossed with goldleaf design and wording. The edges of the pages also have goldleaf on them.
Inside there is a photo of the author and a fine (rice paper?) page with her name printed in red ink.
The following pages after that have the following information -
The author is E.P. Prentiss.
It has illustrations by W. Magrath(b?)
New York and London
G.P. Putnam's Sons

I don't like opening this old book but have seen at least 5 illustrations in it. All pages are intact except for one illustration which was "floating" when book was found.
Pages are soft and supple, white to cream in color with very light yellowing along the edges of the pages (less than 1/16")
