1970 Autographed Basketball - Lakers Team

Category
Autographs
Description

This ball is in great condition. It was signed by the majority (maybe entire) Lakers team.  Wilt Chamberlain signed early on.  Jerry West signed after.  When Wilt saw that Jerry had signed he said, "If Jerry signed, I have to sign twice." He re-signed the basketball so there are TWO Wilt signatures, as well as Pat Riley, Happy Hairston, Gale Goodrich, etc.

I see that a a 1987 ball autographed by a number of players is being advertised for almost $2,400 (http://www.sportsmemorabilia.com/sports-products/1987-nba-champions-lak…).

How much do you think this ball is worth?

NOTE: PICTURE ATTACHED IS NOT MY BALL. IT IS THE PICTURE FROM THE LINK POSTED. I WILL POST A PICTURE SHORTLY. I AM NOT HOME NOW.

Breakdown wardrobe

Category
Furniture
Description

This is a breakdown wardrobe purchased at an antique store in Kansas City about 10 years ago when it was closing shop.  It is made out of wood but don't know what type for sure.  It has a large mirror on each of the two doors.  There's a middle divider between the two doors that has a diamond patterned carving.  A rope-type carving goes around the outside edges and around the divider.  There are also carvings above each of the two large oval mirrors.  The handles twist to unlach the doors.  It stands on 6 legs.

Many different stories about the age of this kist. Came into my family probably about 1900. Likely to be European, but maybe South African.

I bought this painting at a Goodwill and was wondering if it was worth anything. The metal plate on the frame reads: U.S.S. Constitution "Toughest Ship in the Navy" and the signature on the bottom right corner reads: W.J. Aylward

High Chair/Rocking Chair

Category
Furniture
Condition
Fair
Description

I have inherited a high chair/rocking chair from my Grandmother. It is oak with a cane back and seat. It has a crank mechanism to convert from a rocking chair to a high chair. I have seen several posts and auction sites with a wide variety of prices. Is it possible to get a good appraisal of what I can actually sell this chair for to an individual or to an antique store? The tray is missing the bolts that attach it to the chair. Also, the tray is faded, where the rest of the chair is in good condition. Would it be worth my while to try to repair and restain the tray? Or should I just leave it as is? Thank you.
