Info & Value Capodimonte Double Candlestick Holder

Category
Pottery
Condition
Excellent
Description

I acquired this piece through an estate sale and have no idea the history of the piece, manufacturer, or value  It is a capodimonte piece and as far as I can tell, the stamp is an N with a "crown" above it, below is the word capodimonte and below this, Made in Italy.  It appears that there is a double stamp, one being off-set from the other that makes is difficult to clearly see the stamp.  It appears to be black ink.

Any information is greatly appreciated.

What are these Thonet chairs worth?

Category
American Furniture
Description

From the label and the fact that the company only moved to York in the 70s I assume they're not very old. Can anyone tell me whether they are original Thonets and are they worth anything? I don't know whether to try to sell them as is (though it looks like they have already been re-upholstered) or whether I should sand, varnish and re-uphoster them to look more unique. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
