I have an original full page color ad from the April 16th, 1939 Indianapolis Sunday Star newspaper. It is a fiesta
ware promotional offer made by Block's Department Store, featuring a 109 pc. tableware service for 8 which sold for $14.95. It's in great shape with bright, sharp colors, but has 2 small flaws: as it had been stored folded for decades, some kind of little critter must have nibbled at one of the folded creases, with the result that two small holes appear when the page is unfolded, one near the top, one toward the bottom. I've had this framed with non-acidic backing, so the holes, which are about 1"x 1/8" in size appear slightly lighter in color than the surrounding area. I have taken photos, which have some reflection, but again, this item has no other flaws except the ones I described above; it is over 7 decades old and is beautiful! I understand these are rare, and would like to get some idea of it's value, as we might want to add it to a group of other vintage items we plan to insure. I tried researching online and only came up with a reprint auction on ebay. Thanks!
