It appears to be an Oil Painting on canvas. I cannot find anyone who can read the artists name and am looking for somewhere to start in determining whether I wish to sell this item.
The painting is 11.5 x 15.5. The subject is 13.25 tall and about 3.75 at its widest. The signature is in the bottom left hand corner.
I had to crop the image to make it small enough to send.
Was given to my wife and I by a family friend, I couldn't find much information about the company Bodart online. the serial number in the image below is on the back of the dresser and the engraved bodart logo is in one of the drawers. any infor would be great!
I recurved this dresser along with a matching nightstand from a family member when I got my own apartment. I don't know much about it. it has a bassett emblem inside the top drawer. on the back it is stamped with "pecan and maple burl volere collection" I've tried searching the internet but found nothing related.
