COMPLETE GRAPE SHOT CANISTER FROM SHIPWRECK / CIVIL WAR

Category
Militaria
Condition
Good
Description

i FOUND 2 BOXES OF SHIPWRECK ARTIFACTS IN A STORAGE AUCTION i WON, INCLUDING AN OLD SEXTANT, 2 1800 'MALLET' WINE OR BRANDY BOTTLES, MUSKET TRIGGER GUARDS & A JAR FULL OF MUSKET BALLS & FLINTS FOR THE RIFLES)

I ALSO FOUND WHAT LOOKS LIKE A COMPLETE GRAPE SHOT FOR A CANNON - I CAN'T SEEM TO FIND ANOTHER THAT IS ORIGINAL, ONLY ONES THAT HAVE BEEN RECREATED FROM AMMO FOUND.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME ABOUT THIS? IS IT RARE?  WHAT IS IT WORTH?

ONE UNUSUAL THING IS ONE OF THE BALLS IN IT IS BROKEN & APPEARS TO BE MADE OF CLAY OR WOOD. I HEARD AT THE END OF THE CIVIL WAR THEY WERE MAKING CLAY AMMO SHOT & COATING IT WITH ZINC OR SUCH; IS THAT WHAT THIS IS?

THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP.

Imperial Monarch Sewing Machine

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Good
Description

Hello, this sewing machine came into my possetion a few years ago. I would like to get a sence of how much I should insure or sell it for. It is labeled as an Imperial Brand Sewing Machine - Monarch Model. The serial number is c426643 - I was doing some research and this is what I found:

In 1877 took over Imperial Sewing Machine Co. which had been formed as a partnership between Joseph Harris & John Judson in 1873.
Became:
Royal Sewing Machine Co. Ltd Est 1877 - 1882
Became:
Royal Machine Manufacturing Co. Ltd Est 1882 - 1888 +
Machines Made:

  • Shakespear 1872 -1888 (also labelled Monarch 1875)

This machine is electric but it looks like it was made in 1875 - perhaps it was converted later on to electric??

It's in pretty good shape and it still works well.

Description

I bought this tea cart today for $45. It's all solid wood, even the wheels. It has glass on the top shelf. I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about it. I couldn't find any markings on it.

Unique 6foot floor lamp

Category
Lamps and Chandeliers
Condition
Good
Description

I have a very unique lamp.  its over 6ft tall and has a very large tan shade.  The shade is a soft velour material.  The column is metal and has crystal beading on it and strings of crystal beads.  There is a light inside the column.  The table has a shell inlay with a matching metal edging with crystals.  There are 3 lights under he table. The switch on the side controls the column and table lights and can be varied with the ights on or off.  The main light is just a switch by the bulb.

I have never seen a lamp this big or intricate or unique.  I am very curious of the orgin and possible value of the lamp.  Thank you!!
