No major damage (the surface is dirty in the picture, approximately early 1900's, appears to have original hardware, solid wood, possible French influence, clawfoot
The set is small. It's a cream/sugar tray set an has what looks like white paint in the inside but is coming off. It is silver with rose's/flower's. I tried looking it up and the only thing I could find that looked like it said it was old Japan silver plated set with ceramic inside, but the inside looks more like silver/metal than ceramic. My mother in law has it an just wants to know more about it and if it has any value so she can put it somewhere that it don't come up missing. Thank you for any info!!
This is another colonial style plate with 22 karat gold floral pattern trim. It also has the same colonial style man and woman in the same pose as my other plate in the center. it is also in excellent condtion.
I have a plate that has a rounded square shape that has almost 2 inches of 22 karat gold around the outside its solid with floral etching. It also has another border under the first one with a kind of floral pattern that is also hold, and in the center there is a colonial style man and woman, his right hand is behind his back bowing and she is using her right hand to hold up part of her dress as she curtsies. There are 2 trees in the backgound, and some kind of bricked half wall and they are standing on a similar bricked path
