The vase looks imperial. I would like to know where it was made, when, the artists name and the period it was made. There is some japanese writing on the vase itself. (I wonder what it means) and there is a mark on the bottom of the vase which should reveal the period and the artist's name. I believe it was made in the Meiji period. The item has no chips, cracks, restorations or wear. The vase is in absolute near perfect condition. If you have additional information. That would be great. Anything at all. Thank you very much
I have 4 Closet Door Pulls that came out of a very old Victorian Home. The tag on them states they are Crystal and Bronze made in Paris. They are Beautiful and heavy! A very wealthy family had lived in this home prior to it being tore down for a commercial business.
I got them because my father had something to do with the new business being built.
wardrobe with tage on back that says "The Vaughan Furniture Co Inc", "Sears Roebuck & Co." and "5822R". it also has stamped on the back "NO 5822", "FCTY NO 2418" and "2 DOOR" it is in good condition with the exeption of a quarter dollar sized hole in the back of it.
