This table came to our family around 1890, when my wife's grandfather bought it from a neighbor family in Bremond, TX. The neighbor family, who had immigrated from the UK some years earlier, had decided to return to England and offered their furniture for sale to either fund their trip back or reduce the items they'd have to ship.
An any rate, the table is at least 122 years old, wity its original finish and with marble casters that freely move and are completely usable.
We hope to get a free verbal valuation of the table...just for our information. It is doubtful we would ever sell it, since it came down to my wife through her grandmother and great-grandfather.
Thank you for the opportunity to learn more about our table.....a better estimate of its true age and an estimate of its current value.
Inherited item but I am having a heck of time finding the EXACT stamp that is on her back. Its signed B. Merli but the stamp looks a little off. I see no Capodimonte stamp or mark either.
I have only seen 2 of her on the web and am unsure of what to sell her at.
The label on the back of the rug is computer generated and says:
100% heat set Polyolefin Pile 308,000 Knots/sqm
Design: Sarouk 6302
Color: Dark Green 44
160/230
Size (inc fringes): 5'3"x8'
Made in Belgium
Rugby International Corp.
I can't find anything online that seems to fit. Can you help or point me in the right direction. I'd like to sell it but have no idea where to start or how much to sell it for.
