Greek Clay Plate

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Description

Any infomation is appreciated !

Marked "Made In Greece"  MK AOHNA

Only reference I have found was one that was sold on ebay. The link says that they believe it to be a 1920's museum reproduction. The one being sold was very similair but the image is different.

Any one know any info on MK AOHNA or how to tell the age of this piece??

Here is the one on ebay :

Hand Carved Wooden Plate

Category
Folk Art
Condition
Excellent
Description

Wondering if any one can give me any information please !

I was wondering if there was any way to indentify how old the wood is on a cut like this?

Also does any one know what causes the dark spot on the side of the wood plate?

What type of wood would this be?

I would love any info or input.

I bought this plate at a church yard sale. The seller said it was in the basement for a long time and as soon as I saw the detail and craftmanship I bought it off of him.

The fabric and nail are original and the nail seems to be hand forged.

No marks or signatures.

I found a painting that dates around 1880's that seems to match it.

Thanks for any input in advance

1920s side table

Category
Furniture
Condition
Fair
Description

This small pedestal table stands 24 inches tall. It has an oval top and four curved legs beneath a base that looks like the body of a three-stringed instrument of some kind. Under the table's top is stamped in black "ORDER 860" and under that "1920".  Two of the four legs have simple metal claw-like caps that were nailed on the ends of the legs.

Description

Found this guy at a swap shop. Not sure what he is stuffed with, very firm and not plush at all. This bunny is hand stitched with metalic eyes that if taken out could definately hurt someone because they have tiny saw like tips.
