1890 Silent giant School desk

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

I dont know a whole lot about these, I do know that its from 1890, Its made by Silent giant and it was used as a train style school desk . They were made up until 1920 and  this particular model has the hole in it for ink i assume. Its All original , not refinishings and no after market parts or paint. There is no rust, however in 2 spots where the wood is jointed together there is a slight bit of seperation . Theres no major damage, mainly scratches and dents from use over time.

1951 Coca Cola Airline Cooler

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Fair
Description

Hi, I have a 1951 coca cola air line cooler that I acquired. There are no markings to be found but all parts are intact. However, at one time this was restored/repainted by someone other than a professional, although, while not a bad job was just curious how much this hurts the piece in value? Also, the top is off as shown but hinges are intack, just missing the pins to hold in place. The inside is pretty clean with heavy rust on bottom. Any ideas of it's value as it sits now? Want to sell it but not sure of it's value? Thanks.

5 drawer Dresser

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

I don't know much about it other than it has a sticker in the top drawer that says "General Furniture Company".  I have owned it for about 22 years.  I have kept good care of it, but no longer need it and want to get an idea of its worth.

Porcelain Dinnerware

Category
China
Condition
Good
Description

I have 8 porcelein dinnerware settings.  I am not sure where they came from only that my mother obtained them somewhere.  On the back of the plates and saucers there is a shape of a U with a pointed bottom of the U.  Inside the U it reads "Warranted, 22 Carat Gold, Amhurst.

On the front of the plates and on the cups there is a circular design of what looks to be cone shaped palm trees with a circle under it which, in the center of the circle, appears to have a ships wheel design in each.  The outer and inner of the plates is outlined in gold.  There is some chipping of he gold on the outter outline gold trim.

I have a set of 8 in fair condition, but two of the coffee cups have broken.  The set is large plates, small plates,  saucers, and the coffee cups.

I am wondering if you knew where this may have come from/been made and what the value might be?  Again, the  items are in fair to good condition but with two of the coffee cups broken/chipped.

Thank you,

Chris Butcher
