Jay-pee med. slugger

Category
Militaria
Condition
Good
Description

So what I have here is a Jay-pee med. slugger. I got it from a old friend who had obtained it from an at least 70 year old police officer, well retired one. Apperently they were issued to officers for a time period, id like to know the history and perhaps a price for this item. Its in fair condition. The item is a type of flap sap, which have a lead flat top, and handle, and is covered in old black leather. They were used to knock out people with a nice tap sap to the side of the head. Which made it easier for officers to take in fugitives. They have long since been abandoned as police equipment however, but new models are used for self defense. This item is very neat. So once again, i'd like to know some more history about the item, but what im really looking for is a price. Thanks.

Northwest Chair Company Hutch/Buffett

Category
Furniture
Condition
Excellent
Description

2 piece hutch/buffet - light wood

labels on back from the Northwest Chair Company

Top half reads #1432   - Bottom half reads #1431

Both labels say "Prov" after the numbers, not sure if thats important.

I understand the company is out of business so I'm curious as to the history and/or value of this piece.

One knob is missing from a draw on the top half but otherwise there isnt any major damage
