This was given to us by a generous friend who was moving. I really know nothing about it. It is too large for our room and we are thinking of selling it. I can't seem to find any markings on it. It has shelves inside. It is in excellent condition.
This is a awesome Antique Gasoline powered vintage 1936 iron in good shape. The gas tank is painted maroon and has some of the paint starting to wear off on the bottom. The tank is either copper or brass can't tell, the wood handle is in great condition and all the knobs turn on the entire iron. The model number is on the inside of the handle going up and it is No. 9-46 and there is another number on the handle between the gas tank and the iron that says C-64.
OBTAINED AT AN ESTATE SALE...THE ELDERLY LADY SAID THAT THEY ONCE BELONGED TO HER MOTHER.....THEY ARE OVER 100 YRS OLD AND IN PRETTY GOOD CONDITION. THEY ARE MADE FROM IVORY AND THEY ARE ABOUT 9.5 INCHES TALL FROM THE TOP OF THE TEAK, LAST BUT NOT LEAST, THEY ARE ALSO SIGNED.........
