Asian/Oriental Vase

Category
Asian Art
Condition
Good
Description

The vase is about 14 inches tall, with a dark orange, burnt sienna color all over, and very intricated details carved into the clay. Three different scenes on the vase depict what appears to be Asian monks in the forest. The robes the monks wear in each scene are different colors, which alludes to the fact that they may all different monks, not just the same three monks in three different scenes. No marks to determine who the artist may be. The bottom of the vase is covered in felt, which doesn't match the rest of the piece, and may have been added later by someone who owend it. Vivid colors of the leaves and trees, There are a couple chips on the bottom of the vase where the paint has come off.

Ornate Side Table

Category
Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

I purchased this at a yard sale, I do not know much about it other than it is very heavy, solid wood, carved, very ornate and detailed with lions, women, elephants, a carriage, horse and some foreign markings. It is a beautiful piece of furniture but I don't know what the style would be. The measurements are 17" Table top by 18" in heighth and weighs approximately 20 pounds. It has on screw securing top to pedastal? It is in good to very good condition with a small chip on one lions claw and a few small rubs around the table rim. The 3 white circles you see on the top of the table are bumper pads for glass top, which did not come with it.  Any help with identifying and value is greatly appreciated.

Felco Mfg Co In A Wall Laundry hamper

Category
Other
Condition
Good
Description

I have a vintage bathroom complete with a Felco Manufacturing Company in a wall laundry hamper. It is in good condition with the exception of a coat of paint on it, still intact in the wall from when the home was build. I have done extensive research on the company and also looking for one for sale but have only comeup with two archived newspaper articles from 1932 where this item was won in a giveaway,, and that one of the company's original catalogs is in archived in the smithsonian institute library. I can not find one for sale anywhere. I also have a spinning in the wall toothbrush holder. Again with my research I have found only a handfull of them available for sale. i am very interested to know if the in the wall laundry hamper has a value, and what that might be.

Bridgman, which detailed Peary's accomplishments and and their personal reflections on his career. The booklet is 22 pages, with a separate cover.
