It's an oil painting of flowers on canvas on bronze or brass vase.

We bought this Secretaires Desk at a yard sale in Long Branch, NJ. The lady from whom we bought it, told us that it is from 1910.

The details on it seems to be hand carved.

It is missing some of the orginal hardware and and the color seemed to be faded is some areas.

Normally we renew furniture with paint, but this seems like a piece that should be conserved it it's orginal state.

Red clay bowl. A professer at the University of South Alabama said that it was a slave bowl from the colonial times and that he has never seen a whole bowl just pieces.

Hi all,

I brought two Queen Elizabeth II golden jubilee silver plate spoons inside a box yesterday and wondered  if anyone could give me some information and a possible value, I have looked on the web and have very little. Any suggestions would be very useful.

There are 2 spoons within the box, each with a different design at the top of the handle. One has a crown and the other a royal carriage.
