Steam Engine--salesman's sample, or model for show room.......100 + years old !!!

Category

Condition
Good
Description

I have rescently purchased this item from a friend who had it for 25 years, and before he/she bought it, the previous owner had it for over 50 years !!!!!  I don't know exactly what it is, and where it may have come from !!  I had taken it to a show where people had their "hit and miss" engine's on display, and approx. 10 people looked at this and loved it, and of course they wanted to buy it !!  The thing all of the people were saying is that they thought is was more than 100 years old, dating it back to 1900 to 1920 !!  They had also stated they thought it was either a display piece or a salesman's sample !!  Any information could and would be helpful and kept as new knowledge !!  Thank you all so much !!

Candelabra

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Condition
Good
Description

I was given this by my step father with no history. The marks on the bottom that I can make out are a B, the number 66 or 99. I cannot make out any of the other marks. It is blue and white porcelin

The metal is possibly bronze, I simply do not know. It appears to be a mermaid and fish sculpted in the unknown metal. , Does anyone have any ideas?

Meditating Man Iron Cast Stove

Category
Home Furnishings
Condition
Good
Description

Iron cast stove.  The only markings are on the front cover.  It seems as the man is  evoking fire from the round air-guage,  you can rotate this gauge to regulate the amount of air entering the chamber.  Under this gauge are the letters KIV

The entire chamber is wrapped in 9 different hollow tubes.  The first tube starts on the bottom left then curves around the right of the chamber and ends on the upper left.  The next tube starts at the bottom right and curves around the left of the chamber and ends on the upper right.  This pattern continues until there are 9 total tubes.

Some of the tubes that end on the top appear to have marks on them.  It appears there was an attachment to them.  What could this be?

On the back of the stove  is the part that goes into the chimney.

This is a complete mystery to me, i've looked around and asked but no one can give me an answer.  I'm starting to think this was custom made.

Thank you for your time,
