1800's Oil Painting

Category
Fine Art
Condition
Good
Description

The subject appears to be a Priest.  The oil was guessed to be from the 1800's.  Condition is ok.  It lived with a smoker for a long time and has suffered a few small scratches. The frame appears to be unrelated, probably purchased after painting was recieved. Unable to comprehend the full signature, photos attached.

Hummel Bedtime Prayers

Category
Other
Condition
Good
Description

I have this Hummel Werk that says it is by Charlotte Byj entitled Bedtime Prayers.  It has 2 children, a boy and a girl, kneeling and praying.  There is a quilt type fabric in the background.  I can only find this on the internet with one child on one and another on a separate.  Never together like the one I have.
