Teacup and saucer Blue Irridescent china. No chips with rose typ pattern in the blue and white areas of the piece. Silver oval sticker on bottom of each, worn and unreadable. Would like to know age and correct name of piece.
This was a gift to me from an old friend who knew how much I've always loved anything copper. The only one I've ever seen like it was at a prestigious crafts fair, where they were making candy in it for sale to the public. I've left its' surface with the original patina it had when it was given to me, but it could easily be polished up for display or use. I'm guessing it's from the 1930's or earlier. Its' demensions are 8 1/2" tall x 16 1/4' wide, not including the two handles on each side.
This is a wonderful old Sheffield silver/silver overlay teapot that I found at a little rural auction many years ago in north Arkansas. I can't remembe what my winning bid was, but it wasn't much. It is 8 3/4" high, and 7 1/2" wide from its handle to its' spout. It looks grecian in design to me; I've searched online for its' origin, but haven't located anything like it. It must be a rather rare teapot, I'd guess. The top and base are silver overlay with brass underneath; the rest is silver. I've posted two pictures of it taken on my deck.
This table is very sturdy, minor surface scratches. I would like to know how old this is and who made it and what it is worth. I live in Yukon, Oklahoma.
