This drexel bedroom furniture was bought by my mother in law in the 1950;s and given to me in 1963.

The numbers 222-2-053 and the word Precedent are stamped on the back of the chest.

"by Drexel" reg.trade mark in a circle is stamped inside the second drawer of the dresser.

The matching pieces include:  5 drawer chest of drawers;  10 drawer dresser with mirror, double to queen headboard. 

1970's woode crate schlitz beer sign.

Attractive old gas heater.

What I've been able to learn thus far is that these old beasts would sit in someone's fireplace, but most are no longer usable due to lacking proper hook-ups for one's gas system? I'd love to know if that's the case with this one, or anything about it, really. 

This is my first post on instappraisal, so I'm hoping I'm not breaching etiquettes I've yet to learn (please let me know if so). I'm looking forward to being able to help someone else out as well, with my (admittedly limited) knowledge!

I dont know anything about the first piece other than the first date stamp  which is from 1875-1907 

and the other date mark is from 1886 I cant find the pattern anywhere .Im just trying to find out more about it .

I also have another Dunn Bennett piece that says dunn bennett patent unchippable surface burslem .

I would be gratefull if anyone can tell me anything about these pieces.

 

I recently purchased this loveseat from a charity shop, I have no idea about its history, all I know is that its an original piece and not a reproduction. The upholstery is a heavy tapestry which is in good condition for the age. Attached is a picture collage to show close up. I would love any info!

This box set is in excellent condition.  Contains all 8 watercolor paintings with copyright date 1957 and coverpage.  Box has slight tearing at corner seams, otherwise good condition.  Bottom of box is solid white.  Bottom rim of lid has original sale price of $4.95.
