Antique, double-sided, hand embroidered silk, gold, religious tapestry believed to be 17th-18th century, one side, Jesus, the reverse, John The Baptist.
Damaged worn out parts, stains, restoration required.
When I got these spurs was told they were antique charro spurs,, used by vaqueros over 100 yrs ago,, they came from souther california. Have been used as western decor. They are not rusted up,, the rowels turn like new.
Have done a little looking around and have been told it is very rare to find a matching set of these spurs,, usually you find only one of the set. And since these are a matching set in such great condition that I should probably hang onto them. I contacted a western museum see if they could give me some info they said that they were not apraisers but they showed me a few pages on ebay where smaller versions of these spurs with out the inner bumper were selling for $3500 -$4000 .
I have an idea of what I would like for them,, I just want to make sure I am not over pricing them too much.
I have decided to put these up for sale,, there are a few things my husband is wanting and I decided to sell my spurs to get a few things he has been wanting.
Any help at what I should price these at will be appreicated!
