these were passeddown through the family and never thought much of them but recently thought thought they may be historica and possibly vauuable? Thank you for any insight to thes peices
Lamps are a matching pair fo Marbro Table lamps, which I think are carved Alabaster, brown with flowers and a bird atop. They are solid and heavy (22.5 lbs each) and tall (37") I found them with 2 very nice lamp shades which I don't think are original, but I'm not sure (I didn't include pics of those). They have the Marbro stickers on them and are in very nice shape, all the ornate carved decor on them is intact and complete, no noticable chips or missing pieces, except for the leg on one lamp (circled in one of the pics) has been glued on (about 1.5" piece). Even the "bases" are carved... I know Marbro lamps are very collectible, usually high end items were produced, some are one of a kind and they imported artwares from around the world and sold them as lamps and other items, at fairly high prices. I have not been able to find any others like this by Marbro to compare them to (usually they are smaller, or column shaped, not carved)- value wise, and I'm assuming that they're alabaster. Any info is appreciated and email me any questions. I would be interested in selling these, but I don't want to list them on an auction site as I know I won't get anything near what I think they are probably worth.
We are looking for information and/or a value on a family heirloom in very good, if not excellent condition. This is a set of 7 wooden wall plaques of Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs. This has a copyright of 1937 WD ENT on each piece.
